Trudy and me - at her best

Trudy is a very special girl. She has LOTS of power and SPEED. She is very sensitive to a rider's cues because her training techniques when she was first put under saddle (from what we have surmised) were abusive. WI am using Clinton Anderson's technique to bring her back as much as I can! Trudy can easily get to know a person and will love them affectionately on the ground. Even as horses are unpredictable...Trudy is more unpredictable than the average horse. She is kind, sweet, willing but has a terrible fear of being in trouble...therefore, she has a hard time managing her emotions and goes to her instinct instead. This clip is Trudy at her best. She is in her home environment, settling in and cannot be out on trail at all. Trudy is too scared to wander out of her comfort zone, away from all others. With LOTS of time and understandin and the natural way of training and development, she could make someone an amazing arena pony, playday pony or just plain pasture ornament who could be a mommy. She LOVES little ones and is very influential in the pasture. EVERY HORSE who comes into contact with her mimics her antics. This is Trudy's tribute to her best day with me. Trudy is quite attached to me and I'm riding VERY attentive and only use bit pressure when I have to for brakes. In this clip, I had to use NO bit pressure at all! I'm so proud of her... She will make an even better riding horse when those "abuse" memories from before Barb had her are in her WAY DISTANT past. WE LOVE YOU TRUDY!!!!
