  • @whiteradical Virtually every amp will accommodate a 8ohm cab/load, most will be compatable with a 4ohm cab/load (or 2-8 ohm cabs together). Only a few fan cooled amps will work with a 2ohm setup before over heating and possible damage. Check your amplifiers owner manual for their recommendations before use.

  • Wtf, i can turn my aural enhancer knob around too. Let us hear the difference in playing.

  • I have an LA 15 and WorkingPro 15...both do a great job for what they are intended.

The LA 15 allows me to play small and medium sized venues without a lot of weight or size to lug around. The WorkingPro 15 takes care of the rest of the gigs that i have played. Both have that low, smooth sound that I really love. The controls are easy to use. My next purchase will be one of SWR's super light class D amps and a neodymium cab.

  • whiteradical, from a technical standpoint the lower ur ohms the more wattage u can push, inturn means the louder and clear u can get..2ohms is lowest u can go and depending on wattage ratting of ur speakers u can bring the thunder

  • @GuitarManMilaneus First thing I thought of.

  • can anyone help me with figuring out the function of ohms on the bass amp? i have an swr goliath 2x10 8ohm... i'm want to buy an amp head but i do not know which head is applicable for the cab.

  • @kasthebass well thanks fer taking the wind outta my sails. I've been seriously considering getting a Workingpro 4x10 real soon.

  • I First played a markbass LM II head through a 4x10 swr working pro, and then trough a Nemesis Eden 4x10. I noticed that the SWR workingpro sounded way worse, kinda NOT warm sounded emotionless..

    But thats my opinion ..

  • I was about to say that too!!! :P

  • This guy kinda reminds me of Simon Cowell.
