Definitely one of the greatest goals ever, even if it IS in an all-star game. Think about it. Breaking in alone, calling the shot against a sure hall-of-fame goalie, scoring to cap off a hat trick, all in your own barn, and you still don't win MVP of the game.......LAME.

@leafyutube While Nolan was a good player, he only surpassed 25 goals once after 1997. Ozolinch provided puck movement AND a great shot from the back end that the Avs were sorely missing. We were definitely not missing in firepower on offense, thus Nolan was expendable. Sandis scored 19 points in 22 playoff games the year he won the Cup with them, and 17 more the next year. That's unbelievable for a defenseman.

@leafyutube Well, first of all, they had already moved to Colorado when this trade happened. Secondly, some would argue that without the offensive minded defenseman, the Avalanche don't win the Cup that year. Maybe they do. Maybe they don't. But hard to argue against the moves they made.
