Watching grass grow is boring? Not any more!

This is a timelapse movie, assembled from a series of still photographs of a pot sown with mixed birdseed - taken at five minute intervals over the course of seven days.

Worth watching right to the end - you'll see why!

  • @shippoiscoolbitches A horror movie featuring grass could actually be cool. Shoots moving through a body, like bamboo torture.

  • @shippoiscoolbitches You should see how plants actually 'play' under slow motion. Grass has the ability to use chemical signalling right on the edge of the leaf node, to communicate information to other nodes. If plants didn't want us on the planet, things that take place in movies like 'the happening' might actually be scientifically possible. It's funny that we forget that we and other animals that decompose are its food source, and our place in the food chain is not all that secure.

  • epic

  • its like a horror movie with the grass wiggling about like that XD

  • goes well with a hit of acid

  • Next, paint drying!
