Yes, The Bible says the plan of salvation is to repent, be baptized in Jesus Name, be filled with the Holy Ghost. The three go together to be recognized as being "saved"

And no Apostolic's do not believe you come up speaking in tongues. You get the Holy Ghost whenever it is Gods timing for you to get it. I got baptized in Dec. and didn't get the Holy Ghost until March, and I know people who got the Holy Ghost years before they got baptized.

@xxxLOVINMUSICxxx Baptism should follow conversion. Immediatly. In the scriptures people were baptized the moment they believed it's for the remission of sins. And is for all those that believe. I was once part of the upc, which thank the Lord he brought me out, the thing that kept me in was this truth about baptism, but the Lord showed me it was his truth not their truth. Jesus doesn't belong to a denomination. And we as Christians belong to him. Everyone that is called by his name.

Are you apostilic? How do you know when you get the holy ghost? I believe that you should already have the holy ghost in you before you get baptized, because that's what's haelping you to make the decision to be baptized. What kind of christian are you?
