One of the greatest pieces in the repertoire.
This is why we play the guitar, to experience first hand the joy of music like this and have the honor of letting them flow through us.

If you need help with the guitar, feel free to call
323-464-3766 or e mail me jameshunley@aol.com
I'm in LA and I have an active teaching studio.
I want to thanks John Rico for the help running camera today.
We only had about an hour to record and get the equipment set up and it came out ok!. SO PLEASE EXCUSE THE COUPLE OF EXTRA 1/8TH NOTES. just consider its play and put up asap. NO play and play again till its perfect here!
If I had the time I would do like other on youtube and record over, and over again but this is the way you would hear me play in concert so here it is.
A few minor things that i would change but the phrases are my voice so I will let this stand. As I said I'm on a quest to put music up now that I finally have the boys in school( after 9 years of being Mr. Mom I can practice again) (YEAH!!)
Not that i don't miss having to stop every few minutes to put out fires , and get hugs from the sweetest boys on the planet. But I'm grateful to return to a few quite hours of my own.
Thanks for listening ! And thanks everyone for kicking me in the but to post music!!
I send all who hear this thoughts of hope, peace kindness and abundance.
Peace

As to my teaching, I am including this letter from
Maestro Pepe Romero about my teaching

Greetings my friend!
I'm glad to hear that your studio is doing well and that you are sharing your love of the guitar with students of all levels.
I am writing this letter to publicly endorse and recommend your teaching.
I know you are giving technical and musical guidance, which developing guitarists need in order to achieve mastery. I also know that you encourage students by your own inspired example to bring out their own inner musician and experience the joy of personally connecting to the guitar.
Keep up your commitment to teaching from spirit and I hope to see you soon.

un abrazo,
Pepe Romero

  • Always enjoy your music James! When are you going to play in concert again? Looking forward to seeing you.

  • This music has so much depth and inspired passion. Although it's Spanish in origin, this piece always reminds me of a small town/village in France. Wonderful performance. Bravo!

  • It is beautiful relaxing and peace-inspiring music.

    You play while clearly teaching.

Watching you playing guitar in such calm attitude. gives me serenity and reconfirm my idea that music is a God's gift to man.

    Thank you.
