@connr01 A split is when a group of various music artists decide to contribute songs all to one album-- we "split up the pokemon," if that makes sense.

@BVisionProductions As far as vocals, guitar tone and timbre, it sounds better than the songs on the split with vocals/guitar imo.
The chord progression for the synth however isn't at all compelling, just descending arpeggio notes with only two chords used. The timbre of the synth sounded more in line with cybergrind than it does for Nintendocore.
In all, the song you composed would fit better on the old split. The new one has no guitars/vocals.
