This two part video documents research being conducted at the Eckert James River Bat Cave near Mason Texas. This cave is home to approximately 2 million Mexican Free Tail bats that emerge nightly in an amazing display. This film documents the cave, the researchers, and locals who live in this wonderful community in the Texas Hill Country. This is the first part of a two part video. Make sure to watch Part 2.

  • Fantastic. We just went out to visit the area and will have to make a trip to see this when we have more time. This is a beautiful part of Texas.
