One of the scenes from my canceled Bond fan-film, "Nobody Lives Forever".
This scene is Part 2 of the whole scene. After murdering many MI6 workers, Tamil Rahini (James Wright) and his beautiful but deadly accomplice, Janis Doublecross (Sarah Mclachlan) storm into M's office, demanding the final piece to Rahini's plan, the Rocket Guidance System. With Bond (Jake Southgate) distracted by a trap laid by Janis, M (Rose Maclaurin) must count on her wits to keep her alive.

  • class, pure class. just one question. why did you cancel this film it could go so far?

  • @MegaJasondog Thank-you! :)

Commitment issues, school work and several other factors just delayed the film to a point where we decided to move on... Personally, as the director, I am really keen to put out a 007 fan-film in the next year or so, make sure you stay tuned however for the Safehouse, coming soon! :D

  • Nice work but do yourself a favor.....watch Peter Yates Bullitt with Steve McQueen....when i took film it was one of the films we studied .Check out his angles and use of wide shots and close shots. You have a talent....

  • @miamimann1 Thanks for the suggestion! I checked out a few scenes and love the way that he positions the camera during dialogue shots, and his establishing shots present the situation/ an important part boldly and clearly. Cheers for bringing it to my attention, as this entire scene was hardly meticulously planned (no story boards what so ever, I mean, but that is something I need to seriously consider, as my productions become more serious) :)

  • Hey, i'm Lars friend. I think we met once at the beach :) The angles and cinematography are great! But just remember to use more long and wide angle shots to give the audience an idea of the setting. Maybe you introduced us to the setting earlier in the film, if this is only one part of it, but I didn't get a good sense of where the characters were.

  • @TheYou0Tuber Hey man, thanks for the constructive criticism. I'll take it into account for my current project! :D

  • If you want to use the "Nobody lives forever" theme tune for a clip, can I have your permission to put it on my YouTube channel?

  • Another great one there, Jake - nice to see those familiar faces again. I like your unusual angles and shots - have you ever watched the Bourne series? Same effect. I think, though, that Lars should appear in the middle somewhere as well for continuity. Good work!

  • One day i will post one of my earlier movies i did back in the 70's in my final Collage year.I used Bullitt and Dirty Harry as story boards for my production. Was good when i did it now dated compared to the equipment now.Even the gunshots were what you call slight of hand editing.

  • I think you're special effects are great, a neat eye for cinematography, and some good actors, but getting microphones would make the production value so much better.

  • Outstanding camerawork! I really liked this very captivating scene; it's a shame the movie was never finished. I would have liked to see the entire thing.
