But why is it so organised? Why that subway employees stay at doors?

Metro is brand new and Dominicans don't have experience using such kind of transport - so it is precaution measure. Don't know if it will be always like this.

I have to say - it's great when police officer stays at the door and people flow organized.

it look very awesome when doors get opened and all oficers go out the train almost at the same time!! it looks so good!!... this is an order example to all metros in the world...

yeah - and also easy to catch perverts when there are some. its really scary when you see a pervert in a metro and theres nothing you can do about it

This is the second test phase where they were expecting many passengers because of the book fair. Good time to test it out because thousands of people visit the fair every year, but anyway they do have a body of guardians who are trained to maintain order but I don't know until when.

Because they are testing it right now with just 2 trains and those people are getting free rides to the International Book Fair. The Metro won't be available commercially only October when they have all 17 trains. The Santo Domingo Metro's first line was just completed recently after 3 years of construction. It won't be like this forever.
