I found one on Ebay for $14 US dollars all beat up and might get it next month if it's still there and fix it up. Seeing how classic these Echo Toys 2-6-0s are makes me want one. I know I have a lot of nice expensive trains costing over $1K which I really do love, but I also have an appreciation for these more simple inexpensive toy trains too.

@MITCHELLtheC17 i hate the rods on the scientific trains, they are too wide, i see what i can do.

I'm planning on getting one of these because I like this paintscheme the most for it's prototype, but when I get it, I'm going to try to change the tender switch so that it can go foward/stop/reverse instead of just foward. To do this, I'm going to use a spare Echo tender that has foward/stop/reverse switch and install it on the original shell, but to do this, the top/tender collar is going to have to be replaced with the spare's tender collar to accomodate the red foward/stop/ reverse switch.

@pennyf9 well, maybe try and find a Lionel 0-6-0 motor brick, that would be the easiest to fix the wheel pproblem

@MITCHELLtheC17 thats an idea, is it the same size?

@pennyf9 well it is a little smaller than the block currently on the model but i think it should work. also the scientific toys wheels are interchangeable.....but the rod system is less to be desired.
