  • When asbestos is woven, it's not hazardous. It's the small particles from the insulation that can get in your lungs is poison. FDs still use them for chimney fires.

  • I don't know why, but back in the day we had a hard time with these guns "running away" and firing all their ammo. The only way to stop them was have the loader reach foward and twist the ammo belt, jamming the gun...

  • They stole the quick change barrel idea from the WW2 German MG-34 machine gun. Barrel change is identical with swing down reciever.

  • have you got part 2 of this, looks like a really interesting design, would like to see how it works.

  • @coolhislop I think the gloves were the least of the concerns of the tank crew
