Kristy Lee Cook: A New Star is Shining

It was evident from her very first audition on American Idol, that Kristy was going to be around for awhile. She was a force to be reckoned with. Her first few weeks on American Idol were rough, and she found herself in the bottom 2 quite a few times, but we knew that Kristy would pull through, we knew she was strong, and that she had potential. As time went on, Kristy was able to prove that to any people out there who doubted her. She showed she has true star power and that no matter what happens she will always pour her heart out in her songs and sing them anyway. She won't go down without a fight. Now, Kristy is on her way to huge success, and is becoming a recognizable name in country music. Her single, "15 Minutes of Shame," is doing very well on the charts and her music video has just been released as well. There is a new star shining in country music, and it is Kristy.
There are a lot of things we can learn from Kristy, but the one that sticks out in my mind is to never give up when following your dreams. No matter what, never go down without a fight. Kristy showed us that if we don't give up we can reach our full potential, and dreams really can come true. Kristy represents strength, determination, and a true Idol. Kristy's fans really are the luckiest fans out there to be able to call Kristy their Idol.
