I once hit a car on mine. Car had to be towed away. I rode home. My type 471 ate control cables. It sounded quite cool with the silencer baffles taken off the exhaust ends! Loved the kickstart/gearchange setup and the foot clutch option . . .

they have character.. fun to ride, and ugly enough to leave anywhere without having to be afraid of vandalism or theft..

I've got bikes from 49 to 1470cc, and among them are 1977, and78 CZ 471's. One of them is currently roadworthy and I love it. Never gonna be the fastest, prettiest, greatest handling, best finished bike - but whenever I get on it, I've got a big grin on my face, and an even bigger one when I've been out on it.
