Jorge Luis runs the most popular news blog in Ciudad Juarez. His site is called "La Polaka," which is a derogatory word for "politician" in Mexican slang. Last fall after receiving threats to his life, Luis and his family fled the city for the safety of El Paso, Texas. Video by Travis Fox / Washington Post

  • I am against ilegal aliens in any country. But Americans have to pay the price also for being the biggest drug addict of the World. More drug violence in Mexico = More ilegal inmigrants in El Paso. Try another approach, like reducing drug use, tougher laws or legalize it. This is a ver complex problem, dont just blame the Mexicans.

  • @elchalino1 Lame... hey at least I'm giving you the chance to "chowmethefaks". It's not my fault you're too stupid to know how to do that. And really, is calling me "COCONUT" all you've got? You sound like you're cornered. :) Like I said, politics aren't your thing; you should pick up a new hobby like cleaning toilets, or something where you don't have to think to much.

  • At 1:55 is the only reason why I got here. It's because he's cute >.<

  • 2:00 (older son) + 2:27 (younger son) = Fucking HOTTTT :D

  • since he likes it here so much he should study the bill of rights and why its important we dont let the govt. do away with them. he will already understand this better than most americans who sit in a trance watching all the lies and subliminally destructive propaganda on their stupid boxes all day or night.

  • at least he didnt come to the u.s. to sit on his ass and collect taxpayers money.

  • @yourmomlied69 "Follow the money. When the money stops, so does the, "business." True, until it gets into the hands of the government who, like pharmaceudical companies, will spike the prices..Unless, the "new dealer" can promiss a lower price than cartels, the addicts will still go for the better price..Somehow, I can't see politicians giving their new fortune away for nothing. It wil be a 'price war"/drug war.

  • @TheCozybear65 It's already worked before in the U.S. in 1933. The problem now is U.S. Drug Prohibition--it has created an insanely profitable black market. End U.S. Drug Prohibition and end the massive black market cash. It worked before when the U.S. ended alcohol prohibition. Same problem ... same solution. Will the horrors in Mexico end in a week? Of course not. (The U.S. alcohol cartels didn't end in a week either). Follow the money. When the money stops, so does the, "business."
