In a press conference outside the Houston Police Department, State Representative Rick Noriega announced his support for HOPE's proposal that all Houston city employees make at least $10 an hour. He was joined by several HOPE members who spoke passionately about the need to ensure every public service worker is brought above the federal poverty line.
