@TheCrusader25 He said in the future man will become vegetarian and having THREE wives was a usual thing back then.

@TheCrusader25 [cont'd] opinion and fantasy. So then, where does that leave us? We need to separate the essence of the message, as much as we can find, and winnow out all the other crap - and see whether we believe in the final analysis that Baha'u'llah was right. That would be a lifelong study. Good luck! Have fun with it! Report back when you can ... Septagon47

@TheCrusader25 OTOH, what Baha'u'llah has said is that 'all the Prophets [ras'ul] of God proclaim the same faith.' Note the difference. You spout what you believe the Buddha believed. Even if he did expound on it during his lifetime, it's far more likely that he was relating his own message to the people of his day and age than what he himself believed. Yet, even in typing that, I understand that it goes under the same kind of extrapolation that I'm attempting to address. Much is lost in legend,

@TheCrusader25 Be certain that you're differentiating the Word from the babble of the followers. Over time, the two often get confused, and people who haven't heard the actual word are listening - and responding to - what they hear. Hearsay is not the Word. For example - if we take the actual sayings of Yeshua away from the commentary of the writers, you may have all of 20 pages - with possibly some repetition, of the message. Repetition is the mother of learning after all.

I would like to be on this program, or one like it. This word has to go forth, as it has already for generations in Iran, and around the world.

Two more important points...Almost all bahais who are in a position to give credibility, enjoy regurgitating comments written by Abbas effendi. All prophets are equal such as the mystic Buddah (who believed in reincarnation of all animals, btw), and Christ is not the Son, but a prophet as well. Religion is progressive, like math...ha, ha (stupid correlation). He even stated that our digestive systems were meant for vegetables only! Most importantly, his dad (founder) had sex with THREE wives!!

Other religions actually have conflict with alot of your beliefs and teachings. For example, St.Paul has written in the New Testament that women cover their hair in Church, as a sign of respect & humility. Mohammed wrote about the importance of women to be humble and dress conservatively. (not extreme black tents!) So, your Prophets write statements against these two tenants. what do you expect? I can write a hundred conflicting messages that permeate the debate caused by your administrators.

Greetings,
I have mentioned some important points before, and shall reiterate them again. Remember, my religious background was bahai, before I accepted Christ as the 'only way', as quoted in our Bible. I am against persecution of any persons for religious beliefs. Iran is extreme in its tolerance for other religions, and should be held criminally responsible. I only agree with Principles #4, 6 & 7. other principles lack Logic, proof, true love & respect for minority views.
