@Mrpastry909 Could not agree more. I was concerned when my state of Illinois elected him to office over his Democratic competitor, but Kirk has proven himself to be a very fair, reasonable and intelligent man. I sincerely hope that he makes a swift recovery, as D.C. needs more excellent people like him...

I am glad the Senator is doing better. I am a stroke survivor and hope Senator Kirk's recovery is as complete as mine was. My prayers will be with him.
