I'm sooooo conflicted! I don't think he has the signature Elvis sound needed for Bye Bye Birdie, but I absolutely ADORE Nolan Funk anyway! It's like....eh, you're not right in this particular role, but marry me anyway? LOVE.

I'm sorry to say this but no wonder this production got bad reviews. Conrad sounds too much like someone that popped out of a boy band. It doesn't have the "Elvis funk" and tone that is supposed to be in this song. There was lack in energy and character here.
The only positive thing I can say is that they outfits and the set look fantastic.
