  • Man, do I have a terrible voice! Please excuse it and understand the reason I put these up is to teach what I know to beginners. I am not into trying to "perform".

    Thanks again, and, Merry Christmas!!!

  • Nice job. Beautiful music that you are playing.

I really like your videos. I am going to start playing the guitar but I am doubtful whether to buy a prs electric guitar. have you any suggestions for me?

  • Howdy,

Dave to bug ya again..LOL Since you said you are a complete beginner, I thought I would attach my lesson on major chords. Thats all the lesson is designed for, no songs, etc. Just show you where to put your fingers on the most used chords in various songs. Hope it helps!

    Dave

  • Well, Neeman, that didn't work out so well, I'll try to personal message you with the video of major chords I was talking about! Thanks bud,

    Dave

  • Thanks for your fun stuff as always Dave...!

  • @americanrides. Excuse the delay in reply but I was busy at work: I look forward to your suggestions yet. thanks. Peace.

  • @americanrides. I appreciate your suggestion. I suspected: the electric guitar is easier to play. Merry Christmas to you and all those who are closest to you. I will not give up ever!!! peace

  • Thanks Geoff, the same to you and yours!

    See ya,

    Dave

  • Thanks Snafu! Merry Christmas!

  • Hey Art,

Inside the hole it says Yamaha FG - 335. Its very old, one of my first guitars and I love this thing! I've been playing it since I was 13. So, about 33 years I've had it. Its never been in the shop, stays in tune pretty well, I do have a little trouble with the low E string, it doesn't want to play nicely with the others..LOL

    Thanks man, Dave

  • Wow! Thanks everyone on the cool comments! I sure do appreciate every one of them! Merry Christmas to you all!

To my new friend buying a guitar, I am not sure what a prs electric is, but, I would suggest an electric for beginners, because its much easier on the fingers. Acoustics have wider necks and the strings tend to be stiffer and a little higher from the neck which makes it painful on the fingers. Good luck, and, never give up!!! Learn the basic major/minor chords first!! Thanks, Dave
