On January 12, 2009, Michael T Jones played for me a QRS piano roll immortalizing his very own performance of Spring Is Here, written by Rodgers and Hart.

This may be the last QRS piano roll that will ever be recorded because QRS shut down their equipment and closure is being considered.

This video was recorded at the QRS Music piano roll factory on Niagara Street in Buffalo, New York by Howard Goldman. http://howardgoldman.com

  • Love it!! Need more QRS rolls being made!! Thanks Michael for your beautiful music!

  • its not ceased

  • well played! well done!

  • production is NOT SHUTDOWN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!! I can't stress this enough. It will resume right here in Seneca, Pa In April. Again NOT FOREVER!!!!!

  • GREAT! Excellent pumping and expression. Awesome roll and quite the nice push-up player. The piano has a very sweet mellow tone which is nice for a change instead of the typical out of tune player. Need to post more, thanks :) So sad to hear about QRS ceasing production of their rolls. Hopefully once the equipment is relocated someone will get it back online or possibly be interested in purchasing and getting it running again.

    Thanks again,

    Erik
