The goalie screwed up....but..why did the idiot defender aim directly for his goal? Why do people always do that? He should have just thrown it a few feet in front of the goalie and beside the net just in case.

can't tell from the video if keeper touched it or not. also can't tell (i.e. a whistle, not crowd noise) if ref did call a goal or not. someone who knows what happened in this game know if a goal was actually awarded? throw in should have been a bit more in front of keeper for him to clear it out, which is why the throw-in was to keeper in the first place. if the ball did not touch keeper, it's a corner kick. if it did touch keeper, own goal. and embarrassing.

Actually, referee faill. In the book of Fifa, when you throw in to your own goal like that, with no one touching the ball, it should be a corner. The same, if an opponent throws to your goal, it should be a goalkick. I think the GK had that in mind ;)
