  • When the slope has a terrain change and becomes steeper, skiers need to lean forward. Steepness is relative, and you can experience this going from flat onto a green trail, or going over a head-wall on any type of trail. You should not learn how to lean forward through terrain changes on steep terrain, it is best to learn in a comfortable environment, and when you have the skills you can move on to steeper terrain. Nashoba has several trails that are steeper than where this was filmed.
