I took this apart expecting to find bad gears, but it may be a simple fix. Its from a Honda Harmony 215 walk-behind mower, rear wheel belt drive, plastic deck mower.

  • @MrLaxbro36 it depends on what the problem is. it could be something simple like a cable or belt. i worked in a mower shop as a mechanic and we got all sorts of stuff but honda's were the worst. great running machines but nothing is easily accessable. i would suggest taking it to a local shop. also, they especially dont like when customers take it apart only to find they cant fix it and then take it to the shop as a last resort.

  • I ended up not finishing this. it was my friends mower and he just bought a new transmission so i could not test it

  • my thing that makes mine drive just broke i have a Honda 21 in. Nexite Deck, Blade Stop System, Gas Cruise Control Walk-Behind Mower and i was mowing and i heard a little click and it just stopped self propelling itself. is this something i can fix with not much mechanical experience or do i have to bring it into the shop? thanks.

  • how long do u thing my 3 sp manual tranny on my honda push mower will last? its already about 8 years old

  • same issue with mine same mower

  • I bought one of those mowers about 10 years ago and I replaced the transmission 3 times in 6 years. I could not wait to get rid of it. Honda had serious issues with that trans.

  • Did you ever get the Honda Transmission working? Was wondering what the original problem was.

  • Did you ever get this transmission to work right? I have one like it, but mine has broken gear teeth.

  • keep posting more video on the transmission repair. i'll be following your progress as i will be taking this project on later in the week.
