How far will a man go to see justice done? Find out in this dramatic video.

The film was shot using a Canon EOS 550D aka T2i with the kit lens. Shooting was done in full manual mode, including manual focus. With a few exceptions, the camera was set to either ISO 200 or 400, aperture between 3.5-5.0 (mostly around 4.5). It was filmed natively at 1080 24p with a shutter speed of 1/50th.

  • This was fantastic, as others have said before the filming the story and everything was conveyed so well in such a short amount of time with no dialogue. I found you from your post on Olan Rogers page, I'm a huge fan of his stuff and I now am a fan of yours. Hope to see more! Keep up the good work.

  • @Qweets Thanks so much! We're huge fans of Olan as well. New Prime 5 was a huge kick in the pants to up our game. We have a few projects in the works right now, so stay tuned. :D

  • There isn't a second in this video that bores me! Such a simple scene yet so intense! I hate to be one to crap on about the production quality, but the cinematography, the music, the set, were all so superb! I think it takes a lot of talent to set up a story in such a short amount of time and with no dialogue, so great work! This video just leaves me wanting more!

  • @daleywhaley89 Your compliment means more than you know.

  • Now the government is gonna keep tabs on what I watch because I saw this

  • @13Moviemansam I'm a federal agent.

  • Loved the cinematography and ambiguity of this. The only note I'd make is that the picture (painting?) of the man's wife/lover/ladyfriend is too dimly lit. I understand if that was a director's choice, but if it's hard to make out than it's more confusing than meaningful. Otherwise, great stuff!

  • Thumbs up if you think 2 people obviously lacked Resolve.

  • @benaja I think the rubbing eyes part was very natural and the roughness in how it was done kind of shows the personality of the protagonist. I agree that a silent stare as the eyes go water would have been less of a jump and would add a nice subtlety. But I'm really looking forward to the next part!

  • @exitsixtwo HOLY BALLS. On our little deal, all I do is appear on screen, direct, and do about half the shooting. All the editing, post processing, and music is other guys. I don't have a musical bone in my body, and my editing sucks, so hats off to you, sir!

I did respond strongly to the use of the altoids tin- such a common thing, usually filled with candy or weed, turned into something dangerous. I'd like to see where this goes. Subscribed!

  • @benaja We'll keep that in mind. :)
