Alright this has been up here before and this is the updated version and yes this is not the real Orleans performing the song, it is done in the style of Orleans. This video promotes the "Detective" series on my website and the song came from the One True Media library so hopefully it will stay up here. If you want more info on the "Detectives of the 9th Precinct" series go here http://srpandjrnyfanfiction.bravehost.com/ again all stupid comments and people will be deleted then blocked so don't bother. Perry onto Infinity!
This has been mine and my husbands song for 20 years and he is very jealous of my Steve obsession. I find this a great video. thanks so much :)

Perryswoman, I love these! I have read all your realistic stories as well as all of the Detective stories. I love them!!!! It took a while to get myself to read the Dectective stories- I just could not see them as Detectives. But now that I did- you have me hooked. I love the way you write! The stories are warm and funny. Any idea when "The Devil believes in you" will be added to? You have me waiting in suspense..... why does steve fall unconscious? You have to add more, ASAP- pllleeaassseee

Arnel is good but he's no Steve Perry and never will be. I wish them well, but if Perry would rejoin - well tha would be amazing!!

I'd love to hear Perry do this himself! Wouldn't that sound great?

(Continued...) Arnel's description of how his mother believed in him parallels Steve Perry's own relationship with his mother. Also, it was REALLY awesome of Steve to write a message to the Oprah Show producers about how he felt about being with the band and how he wishes the band well. Even though some of the band members have made some negative remarks about him during past interviews, Steve has not done so to them. This just shows that he is a wonderful and kind human being.

It was nice to see Journey on the Oprah show and hear all about Arnel's past. The only thing I disagree with (in the interview article on Oprah's website) is the statement that Arnel "perfected the Steve Perry sound." In my humblie opinion, Steve's sound cannot be perfected; his VOICE is perfection. (Continued...)
