@harino45 he doesnt get new cleats before each game actually. he says he has 3 pairs during a season. he breaks them in in training and then takes that pair to the game whihc he uses for a good part of the season while he takes another new pair in training to break in. sorry im bad at explaining, he said this in a inteview for Portuguese tv

@harino45 It will probably wear them down a bit faster (though I don't really know how substantial it is). But when you're kicking the ball like this (intended to be a dipping ball with possibly a lot of swerve in it) you almost need to scrape the ground, or you'll have a hard time hitting the ball exactly in the right spot. Unless your feet are smaller, in which case your boots are lucky =P

I see that Ronaldo slightly scrapes the grass with the tip of his cleats. Wouldn't that ruin the tip of your cleats and make them wear out faster? I know Ronaldo gets new cleats for each game, but...
