hi I have a similar problem. i use win 7 and i'm trying to uninstall/intall a software
and a pop up appears that say "windows installer cannot be accesed".
does any of you know what i can do? i have tryed everything except calling 911 as stated above and nothing works. some one help!!!

quick question. sorry to bug but i just need the help. so if u could help i would appreciate it. seeing that u know more about a pc than me. i need help with my audio, i cant find help any where. i have no audio device enabled. idk how to enable or put sound in it. epic fail plzz help.

Method 1
Unregister Windows Installer, and then reregister Windows Installer. To do this, follow these steps:
1. On the "Start" menu, click "Run:.
2. In the "Open" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.
3. On the "Start" menu, click "Run".
4. In the "Open" box, type "msiexec /regserver"

1)Go to ''START'' and then ''RUN''
2)Type in the RUN ''net start MSIServer'' and click OK.
3)And a Command Prompt will open.And it will say ''Windows Installer Is Now Starting''.
4)DADA!!!
Tested on 3 computers and works
