  • I have one that is very special to me. My dad served in the US Army during WW2 and fought on Okinawa and Saipan. He killed the Jap officer that he took this from on Sipan. I remember the holster when I was a child but I think my dad chunked it because it had gotten dry and cracked.

  • World war two weapons look so fucking awesome .

  • k1mri= awesome

  • i have one as well with the leather holster, very nice pistol and ammo is very hard to find and i dont think i would ever shoot it even if i found some ammo, very good review

  • have you ever shot your type 14?

  • I am a 34 year old history buff.. i love seeing these types of firearms. Thanks for taking the time to show and explain the different types.

  • @An0nEeMouse lol apparently the nambu was widely distrusted by Japanese military officers, as it had a high risk of backfire, and wasn't entirely effective in combat with its tiny 8mm round. What's sketched on the side may be, at first glance, a production serial number. It probably was sketched by its owner: "I hate this f****ing gun".

Still, its a beautiful piece, would love to own one. Unfortunately for me, I live in Australia and I'm too young (probably most important xD)

  • Fascinating video :D Very interesting collection!

  • @MegaMonkeyChunk Are you guys even allowed to own them?

  • You should find someone who reads Japanese to tell you what the holster markings say. You never know, they could even be the name of the officer who originally bought the pistol!
