Why would anyone bring along the obese non-athletic Oprah to lobby for the Olympics? When I think of Olympic sports, I don't think of unhealthy fat people.

There are a few problems with your analysis...one is that those unemployment numbers I quoted were from Obama and his party themselves. Either they were lying to get all of that spending money from the people, or their economic analysts are way off. We're not talking hundredths, or tenths of percents, we're talking almost 2%, and we did exactly what they wanted! The health strategy you speak of is to give all of the legitimate citizens of the US free health care, plus 40M more. Streamlined?

In Economics there is the lag and gap concepts; turning a super tanker at sea takes time and the turn may take a long while as opposed to turning your car. Spending almost a trillion will create jobs; also the few making all the money will no noticeable health benefits. Now with a stream lined strategy more persons could be employed to deliver the new philosophy in health care.

Cronyism, cronyism, cronyism. The stimulus bill was about 'jobs jobs jobs, and unemployment went to 9.8% in September. According to obama, if we didn't pass it, it would go to 8.6%. If we did, it would only go up to 8%. Now he's using 'jobs jobs jobs for anything he wants to pass, ie healthcare. Do not fall for it, he has the tongue of demons, and his words into action will mean bad things for all the world. Just have to open your eyes, and look around my friend.
