  • Hi Michelle were do you get those exact cookie cutters from. i like to purchase the exact ones.

  • @TheDutchqueen1978 the cutters are the ORCHARD brand JEM cutters have the same thing as well.

  • excuse my cake decorating ignorance but what is a flower fondant?

thanks for sharing your skills with all. inspired by your tutorial i used the white chocolate ganache method for fondant and even with my limited skills the results were satisfactory. thankyou!

  • @saraconnar flower fondant is gumpaste which is stronger and dries harder than normal fondant. It is also more flexible so you can make beautiful petals with a lot of detail.

  • @saraconnar flower fondant is called gumpaste. It is stronger and dries harder than fondant that you use to cover a cake. It also is more flexible allowing very fine and thin detailing.

  • Hi,

Sorry for my bad english. I have a question about the flower, how to make the petals. I've been trying to make this flower and i can't get the petals wright. They don't get 'curly', if you know what i mean. ( I do use a foamboard) And I wonder what kind of fondant you use. I know you talk about in your video, but I have trouble understanding what you say.

    Thank you!

  • @missdeejzie Hi use a flower or gumpaste and it should be a spongy foam pad and the firmer you press the more it will curl. Also have the ball tool part on the edge of the flower and part on the foam pad. I hope this helps. Bye for now, Michelle
