One of Norway's best-known traditional music bands -- KVARTS -- plays for evening dancing at the 2007 Landskappliek (Norwegian national folk music and dance competition) in Geilo, Hallingdal, Norway. The tune is a traditional polka arranged by Kvarts and appears on their recording, Steinsprang, which won Norway's "Spellemannsprisen" — Norway's version of the "Grammy" -- for folk music in 2006.

It's fun figuring out who is dancing polka, snoa or polkett. What a fun group to dance to - lots of samspel!

What a great tune -- and band! Love seeing the shapes of the dancers as they go by. This is the "real stuff". Thanks for sharing.
