PMR Is starting to pick up in England with many users setting up networks, cb radio is all but dead and buried due to P.L.T broadband wiping out so many users, myself included "have 5 people in my street alone using plug in broadband" and it's interference range is around 1000feet .. UHF is pretty much interference free.
I can talk to friends 7-8 miles away using a simple homemade ufh dipole.. that would be near impossible on the cb with 6-7s of constant noise running

Which frequencies are used for the "unofficial" UHF CB?

what 20 chanels??it's a pmr..what happens?

Looks like a nice little hand held to add to the ever growing collection of 'UHF CB' capable radios.
Although, I notice that the plethora of Chinese (wideband) hand helds are taking off in a really big way now. There seems to be a newer and more feature rich model every other month. They even sell dual band models now. It will be very interesting to see what the market looks like in another years time.
Keep up the good work Simon!

Thanks Simon.
You can change the power of 0.5 to 3 watts through walkie menu or must be in by computer?
Do the batteries spent quickly?
You know that walkie is better, this or a Midland G8 or G9?

@Chevchev2 Through the PC and the batteries seem to suffer no severe loss of power. G8 or G9? Both are working well and both have mods to make them better.
