Great playing! Ever tried practicing with the metronome on 2 and 4? Its great for time developing and swinging:)

@fellas333 primarily dominant 7 chords and scales, and the pentatonic scale
then you can add the F# melodic minor scale just before going to the Bb
and the B diminished scale just before you go back to F

I have been playing jazz piano for 8 months now teaching myself. while playing the piano i try to make up some chords that sound jazzy. Its hard at first but they come to you when you lest expect it. I suggest if you dont have a teacher to just try it yourself until you get a teacher. just have fun with it.You never know what will happen with your playing so keep up the hard work.

when playing jazz blues in F, what chords and scales should you use? Would be good to get some real insight into this playing.......

5***** Just what everybody is looking for. Sweet chords. Good Jazzy swinging feeling. Just great.

I was playing over this recording!
i think youve kinda missed the point here. for the most part, this sounds very square, contained, and pre-determined, which is contrary to the very essence of jazz
