Blues in F / Jazz Piano Exercise

when playing jazz blues in F, what chords and scales should you use? Would be good to get some real insight into this playing.......

I have been playing jazz piano for 8 months now teaching myself. while playing the piano i try to make up some chords that sound jazzy. Its hard at first but they come to you when you lest expect it. I suggest if you dont have a teacher to just try it yourself until you get a teacher. just have fun with it.You never know what will happen with your playing so keep up the hard work.
