Neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor had an opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a massive stroke. As it happened -- as she felt her brain functions slip away one by one, speech, movement, understanding -- she studied and remembered every moment. This is a powerful story about how our brains define us and connect us to the world and to one another.
I once had an out-of- body experience of my own when my body went into shock and my blood pressure plummeted from a medical procedure and when I was out of my body; I went to where I would have been if I wasn't having the procedure. When I came to (after what was only a few seconds, but felt like an hour); it took a few minutes to get reoriented as to where I was.

Thank you and notice how there are no other comments on here. I could swear this one used to have many comments. Youtube is actually removing comments. I have a friend in NC who's acct. was suspended (and she didn't even have any videos uploaded), but after her acct. was suspended EVERY comment she ever made on YT was deleted. In otherwords, YT removed all signs of her ever existing.
