@becomingjewishorg yes but it doesnt explain that these Jews were murdering each other over whos god was better and raping and stealing from each other,and they were NOT going to survive in the desert if they didnt get on the same page in a hurry.Its called orthodoxy,the whole of Tanach is Ethics.All the TrueReligions,BookofTao,Confucious,Hinduism,Buddhism,Judaism,Christianity teach ETHICS=PARADISEforALL.Only Islam or Koran doesnt teach this.This is why Islam is a 'false' religion.

The entire Torah came directly from Hashem - including all 613 laws. What he came down teaching is exactly what Hashem told him to teach.

@becomingjewishorg you explain evrything well except WHY? Moses came down from the mt. with Ten rules for evryone to follow,and one god to worship and then started writing Jewish laws of conventional morality and mono-theism .???
