Riveting to see Borkh on stage; her stage background is evident and one has the sense that she knows where she was, is going and where she will arrive at all times without any noticeable effort on stage.

I love this recording. Ingrid Bjoner was great here as the Keiserin. I also love Borkh and Martha Moedl.
