I cannot agree with you more. These people stand out there with hopes of video taping a spectacular event. However, they don't seem to get it. If they do get the opportunity to film the big Tsunami, they''ll never live to see it.

there was also a huge swell that came from the nw/n/ (alaska) that was the major contribution to the actual waves that hit the california coast. it merely coincided with the events that took place in chile which led most people to assume it was because of the earthquake. that why some saw it as not that epic since it was just a great swell moving in.
