  • Nice vid I worked on a pipeline crew for 5 years about 27 years ago, the only thing that bothers me is this new drilling sideways and then exploding the end or fracking and how it will effect our water supplies down the road, as a realist I do realize the people making money off this type of drilling will say it is safe and since they have the money our government will say whatever the big money tells them to say, and its good to have these jobs but at what price later on,

  • @s46d45m17

    Thanks,

Fracing takes place 4000-6000 feet below the surface, and the furthest any water aquifer is down is about 600 feet and even then, some companies case the vertical portion of the well in cement (sometimes as many as 3 layers) as much as 1800 feet past the aquifer.

But as far as the fracing itself, these explosions take place well below the water aquifer, so the explosions are safe.

  • Were you happy with the work Chief did? Did they make good on all their promises?

  • @GADCLuzerneCounty

    That's what contracts are for.

  • Was this a local #66 job?

  • @carrollcountyraven No, they were too high.

  • @kickpedal All of this footage was taken within a one mile radius in an area between Troy and Towanda.

  • What part of Bradford County is this? We're in the northern part just off the N.Y. border, east of Athens.

  • @airship357 lol no.... This is a big deal in the area that I live. Its a very real possibility that natural gas could be very lucrative for some landowners.

  • Were you bored or something? >_>
