Golden Sun: TLA boss #7 Poseidon

Alright, this guy... Is a pain. A real big pain. He got some nasty Instant Death attacks and that's REALLY bad for our health, so we'll have to pray he won't pull it off on us...

His weakness is Mars but Jenna is our Mars Adept and that ain't gonna work very well, seeing how she's ALSO the only one who got a party-heal Spell...

So, what do we do? Well, this:
First of all, we need to break his Force Field. That's why I used Stat Boosting Djinn at turn 1, along with the Trident (which from now on will be equipped permanently on Jenna by the way due to +20 Water Resistance, something I need).
After that, use your strongest Djinn and pray he won't slaughter you. He'll go down sooner or later... Freaking bastard.

Felix - Lv. 28, Echo, Iron, Steel, Mud, Flower, Meld
Jenna - Lv. 28, Cannon, Spark, Kindle, Char, Coal, Reflux
Sheba - Lv. 28, Breath, Blitz, Ether, Waft, Haze, Wheeze
Piers - Lv. 28, Fog, Sour, Spring, Shade, Chill, Steam

Yep, no new Djinn nor any more levels. I'm currently in Lemuria (just got there), too.

What else... Uh.... Yeah....

Well, I can't say much about him. He's a tough boss overall; heck, I still used my same battle style which is without summon and djinn (talk about my stubbornness xD). I used Jenna as a healer and as an attacker. I tried to balance the entire party by using different characters to heal and attack. I think the most important part is to heal consistently, and the party will do fine. If Felix can revive that will be great!

I was actually more scared of this guys counter rush. Never knew he could one hit you with Watery grave. I assumed it just dealt massive damage.
