Mothers Protective Instinct

My brother is a horse trainer and lives on a large wheat ranch. I help him sometimes with hoof trimming and some of the training. A year ago In July I was blessed with the experience of watching a mare foal. The foal is the great great grandson of the Black Stallion in the movie. Recently we took the foal and the mare down to the pasture to put him in with the other horses. This video is about the initial reactions of the other horses and the mothers protection instinct kicking into gear. I have several of these videos so will post a couple more later on here. Fire is a stunning horse.. So are the rest but she really caught my eye. Love my greys.. Have alot of probs down here in Aussie land though with cancer. Especially cause Im in the out......out back.

There are plenty of places down here. We all love horse and country music so you will all fit in just fine I think. I have been Barrel racing since I was young. I have always wanted to go to America but my nearest bar is about 60 miles away. So catching a plane is completley out of the question. Money just doesn't go that far.lol.

The mother and yearling are in the round pen. She is the darker one, and her baby is the lighter brown one from what i can tell.

I can't tell which is the mother and the baby or well are they the ones inside the cage or outside the cage?
