  • Hold down the button to transmit and Monitor (mon) at the same time, while still holding turn the unit on. Now you are in programming mode.

  • I hate those radios i have like 6 of them the battery life is not good..there ok for little places but not worth the money if you are getting them new or used.. Do waste your money on these radios..

  • i found one in an abandon trailer is it just two way or something mine isnt working at all like that

    And trust me, I had this problem with my Motorola xtn446 + kenwood protalk

    it turned out to be the Privacy tones.

    Check em' again ;D

    and if not, read the manual..again, Mine dident come with any, So i downloaded them.

    Still no luck?.. Im sorry lol

  • idk if you can help me, my xv2100 receives loud and clear but doesnt transmit, any ideas, i tried changing the PL codes and even turning it off (o) but still no luck.

  • Walmart here uses them on MURS and i usually pick em up everytime i go by.

  • where did you buy the walkie talkie what store or what website?
