Episode 1.08 - "Light Years Away"

Dean finds himself roped into mowing Haley's lawn for her and her mother. When Haley comes home to find him having some troubles, she simply laughs to make her appearance noticed as Dean waves at her with a smile, never having been so happy it seems.

Brooke moves in with her new roommate, Haley after she's been offered a room. Deb simply said she already practically lived there anyway.

Sam and Dean debate about leaving to finish the job they had started, still determined to find the yellow eyed demon, but Sam brings up Haley as a reason why his brother is so reluctant to leave and Dean gets defensive saying she's not the only reason - when in reality, she's the only reason he needs and he walks out of the hotel room.

Early in the afternoon, Rachel and Nathan skip school as Nathan meets Rachel at her house...

As Karen leaves a message for Keith at his office with his secretary, she thinks she sees him across the street, but it's just her imagination... right?

Lucas and Keith talk. Lucas brings up his step-mother, Karen and asks if she's the reason he's not fighting for his marriage, which results in Keith yelling.

Nathan severs all ties with Lucas, telling him they're not friends; they're not even brothers.

Dean approaches Haley about the idea of him leaving and asks if they could make it work even with him on the road. Haley doesn't give him an answer and simply gives him a kiss - an obvious goodbye kiss and leaves her living room.

Dean visits his father's grave after a long drive, and realizing that it's not fair. He wants to be happy, and it seems his 'job' doesn't allow him to be that way.

Sam and Brooke chat after she's settled in at the Scott residence, and at the end Sam brings up the idea of him leaving.
