  • I'm not from Seattle or a Sonics fan but I miss them. The uniforms were awesome and I remember the good rival my Rockets had against them in the 90's. That was a classic team. We need the Sonics back.

  • im a kings fan, but i respect the sonics not the thunders.

  • They should have tooken the clippers to okc because clippers are a east of space in the staples center

  • Fuck you Oklahoma, I loved the Sonics although I am a Magic fan. Bring the Sonics back.

  • I always liked the sonics better with Gary payton and Shawn kemp and then there was rashard lewis and ray allen, two great generations of sonics, then for some reason they had to move it to Okc thats just dumb man.

  • How 'bout that? A few Lakers fans here, but they MISS the Sonics?! I was born and raised in Seattle, but, I'm a Lakers fan and I DON'T miss the Sonics!

  • seattle shouldnt have gone. nba made a mistake, im a laker but i liked this team

  • Man i miss the sonics....bring em back.

  • @mtime6 nba franchises generate revenue through other means besides ticket sales. I personally find it fucked up how the NBA increases player wages. forcing every team to build a state of the art arena to cope with the rising cost of its players. Though the NBA does nothing whatsoever to contribute in making the arena. All Stern did was ask for a quarter of a billion dollars from the state. The NBA business model is broken. that much is clear.

  • @ShakeZula1435 Seattle is not one of the top cities in the world, dumb ass. Its the 21st century, where anyone can find out anything about anyplace just by typing it in a computer. No, Seattle doesn't have the best fans, not even close. Go to Pittsburgh, Chicago, or Boston.

  • @sourkraut92 Your an idiot. The NBA is a business, not some sort of fun little game like some people think it is. If you don't go to games, then the Franchise will fail. Owners barely make money in the short run. I loved the Sonics, but understood when the owners chose to move from Seattle. Attendance is key not for just basketball, but for every other sport. As the Cleveland Brown fans when their team moved to Baltimore. Business is business, however hard it may be for you to understand this.

  • @adamforest The only way to improve a team is for the team to make more money. The owners left Seattle(even after waiting two years to see if the market in Seattle would recover) Because Fans would not go to games. As I said, I am a bulls fan, and when the Bulls sucked after MJ left, attendance never faltered. Its not just basketball, its every other sport in Seattle that is struggling as well. I am sorry, but the facts remain, if you don't go to games, the franchises will fail.
