Patsy has an amazing version of this heart breaker. What else needs to be said?

  • This is the greatest version of this song. What album is this on?

  • @shazam9996 This song is on "The Patsy Cline Collection" which has not been issued for a few years. This collection has over 100 songs by Patsy and it is well worth having. There is not a bad song on these 4 discs, only "degrees of greatness". You can find used versions on e-bay and Amazon or at used record stores.

  • One more comment, I'm sick, and tired of hearing "Reba is the queen of country" she never wrote a good song, has a lousy voice, and she's kind of ugly. Patsy Cline will always be the queen of country in my book.

  • @dweezle00 Reba is OK. She is a big Patsy fan.

  • Great song, but what's up with the guy saying "atta boy Patsy" at the end?

  • @62grossman This recording was a radio transcription. It was made during a live radio show. So I guess that someone in the radio crew made the comment after the song.

  • Thanks for the upload! I like the photos also, nice touch. Such a beautiful woman with an amazing voice.

  • I love to sing Patsy Cline songs for non profit enjoyment..I sing most all her songs. Everone loves her songs.

  • Beautiful version.

The photos She was much woman, much waoman.

  • @shazam9996 THIS WOMAN HAS GOT A VOICE LIKE NO OTHER HUMAN HAS EVER HAD

  • Patsy had one of the most amazing voices ever recorded, and she had virtually no formal instruction or training. Her great love was country music, but thank God her managers and others got her to do songs of other types. Ditto on the clothes. In a stylish evening gown you can really see what a veautiful woman she was. With those elaborate "cowgirl" outfits, your attention goes to the outfit, and not the wearer.

  • God love ya Patti Page, but Patsy owns this song.

  • @62grossman I was just a live radio performance - who else could do that kind of performance in a single take with no wizardry?

  • I doubt we'll ever hear anything like this again. She was truely one of a kind.

  • there are no words that could adequately describe this..

  • hogahoga
