What kinda disappoints me is that the Japanese version of this game has actual voices during scenes like this. Never the less it still remains an awesome game.

@corjonbett Yeah, but even as kids, me and my siblings managed to beat it without many problems. It's the current games that drag you by the hand and tell you where to go and what to do at all times. I mean, we explored the shit out of that game, whenever there was a dead end we went "hum, what can I do to fall off the game world?" And more often than not we did just that. The one complain I have about it is that we never get to see kyushu before it get blasted off into wherever.

Actually this game is fun as fuck the whole way through but you're right on some points and this game should get a complete overhaul for Wii or 3DS.

This game is fun at first, but... later on it's kind of obvious that it was rushed. Large empty wilderness past the second castle.... Not counting backtracking, you'll only see one new town, and the only way they find to make you continue is to hope that you say "Well, There's this big spot I haven't explored... Let's ignore it for now and go swimming in the ocean!
There aren't even any clues pointing to the Gourmet Submarine Castle, for crying out loud!

Ahh I remember this! This was one of the funniest N64 games I ever played. Such a shame I never got the chance to beat it though. Heard the ending's really funny.
