For some reason this version hits home for me. I've always thoroughly enjoyed the original, but something about this version made me realize just how heartbreaking of a song it truely is. Beautiful story telling with this song... I mean the build up and then the final verse hits me with "Do you think of me/ Where am I now/ Baby where do I sleep" and then you realize that the town is just a metaphor for his life without this girl.
