The *only* wasted vote is the vote for any candidate who won't change the status quo. The mainstream Democratic candidates are not up to the task: they want to stay in Iraq with permanent bases, they want to use threats in place of real diplomacy, they want insurance-run health care, and they want to continue the pointless war on drugs.

These candidates want a "residual force to remain" in Iraq and all three have refused to promise to withdraw troops from Iraq by even as late as *2013*, six years from now.
