What's funny about this rag is that it can be related to our modern credit crunch. Panic on Wall Street is the first stage, so let's hope that good times come soon!

good job but even though joplin only wrote in pedal to one or two of his songs there are just some places in ragtime songs where pedal is necessary

I wonder about the glosses flashed across the screen from time to time. Were those notes written by Joplin himself? Was this piece a tone poem?

Yes, these are Joplin's notation in the music, at the beginning of each movement.
