@dangerfellini hipsters? eh, a term i've never used. lol, tho u got me giggling. i'd say PTV were a pretty cool bunch, mixing together elements of magick/ritual/impro/punk/psychedlia, and i did love the gear worn too, as in the 80s i was a crusty punky hippy squater kid. and thought that mad church in hackney was spot on! loved the big crucifix with the cow skull. (which ended up in a squat in north london i tripped out a lot in). PTV3, sound fine, but pyramid and circus 4 me
@dangerfellini oh? thanx for that... so i take it the two mentioned albums (which i had way back) those were just jams that sounded similar? thanx for the info! apprecited!
@gnowave No, it's not from Live @ the Circus or the Pyramid. Alex played on the Circus version and I played on the Pyramid but we didn't play or release Twisted on those. This is from 1989 on our German tour which was released on RARE AND ALIVE cd. Compiled by John Weiss.
@dangerfellini the current PTV3 are a fairly good act, but the backing musicians come across as those little college trained nice clean designer clothes dix.
Like this one too - good for taking your mind off stuff
